Return and Refund Policy

You are our priority, however we have certain rules which our store needs to follow:

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Also, the item must be pre-paid, we do not accept returns for COD orders as of now. 

To start a return, you can contact us at custcare@blackcocoon.in. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Size Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You need to send us photographs and a video as a proof of damaged good on the above mentioned email. 

We always suggest our customers to look our Size Guide on the product pages before ordering any item. Sizes are clearly mentioned and hence, ordering a wrong size is a rare case. Unnecessary returns / exchanges due to size issues won't be entertained. If you think it was a genuine mistake contact us at custcare@blackcocoon.in.    

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on Sale Items, Gift Cards and Cash on Delivery (COD) items.

Phone Cases (mobile covers) does not come under Return & Refund Policy (these items cannot be returned / exchanged). In case you have received a defected phone case (manufacturing defect), kindly let us know at custcare@blackcocoon.in by sharing pictures of the defect. 

Already replaced / returned items are not eligible for a further return or refund. 

No Exchanges Only Return - Process

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The refund will me made for the returned item.

You must make a return request at custcare@blackcocoon.in, mentioning your order number and the case issue. Once your case is verified by our customer care department, we will further instruct you to self-ship the item to our office (shipping address and other instructions will be mentioned on the email). 

Please note: The item needs to be self-shipped by the customer as we do not have any return pick-up facility as of now. For products without any manufacturing defect or fault from our end, we are not entitled to bear the return shipping charges. However, if we feel the criticality of the case, the maximum of Rs.100 (self-ship charges) will be refunded to the customer as Virtual Coupon, which can be redeemed in future at our store. 

Lost Shipment - Tracking status updated as delivered but you haven't received it

In such case kindly notify us within one day of you receiving the message that your order is successfully delivered / tracking page is updated as delivered. Our delivery partners have a time frame for any query for lost shipments. In case you inform us after 5 days have passed from you receiving the message that your order is successfully delivered / tracking page is updated as delivered, we won't able to provide you a replacement product / refund. 

Cancellations

Orders could be cancelled only within 4 hours of placing the order. Orders once gone for processing could not be cancelled. As all orders are made to order, hence, cancellations are not possible. Write to us on custcare@blackcocoon.in within 4 hours of placing the order in case you want to cancel it. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return / order cancelled, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

*Return, refund & replacement requests must be sent within 7 days from the delivery date. All requests after this 7 day period will not be encouraged.

**We reserve the right to refuse any returns if we determine that the merchandise does not qualify for a return.
